Together: The Essential Fusion of Culture & Design

Justin Dauer will talk with us about the necessity of approaching our work and each other with a human-centered mindset. People are at the center of everything in a business and therefore empathy and compassion must guide us across personnel as well as process and product. 

We cannot preach outwardly about empathy for those we’re designing for if as designers, researchers, architects, developers, etc., we are not supporting each other. Creating with compassion in an environment fueled by compassion means we never lose sight of what it’s all about: people and the environment in which they exist.

Justin is the Vice President of Human-Centered Design and Development at bswift and the author of, "Creative Culture". Justin has two + decades of design experience, he speaks around the globe on culture and design, and he's built teams with foundations grounded in the skills of human-centered designers; empathy, objectivity, and creativity.
