When planning interactive projects there can be common challenges including explaining the design and development process with clients, identifying gaps in the process, and considerations for developing effective user experiences. This can be challenging when you have to be creative with tight budgets.

User Experience Designer Corey Stern had researched various user experience models to help with this process, but he found most models to be either confusing, unorganized, or antiquated. He decided to build his own model.

Corey developed the CUBI UX Model, which identifies the core components of any interactive project to incorporate Content, User Goals, Business Goals and Interaction. Corey's presentation will describe the layers of each component, the Action Cycle, the four Experience Factors to create effective user experiences, and the various UX disciplines involved in the process.

CUBI is not just a visual model, but also a mindset for creating viable, feasible and desirable interactive products.
