Join us as Linda Zespy and Shawn Heller, from RedBrick Health present "Designing for Behavior."

We want consumers to click, learn, retain, explore, donate, buy, visit, spread the word. In short, we want to inspire them to do something—to change their behavior. And many insights from behavioral research are being successfully hardwired into user experiences. The result is interactive content that has changed all sorts of behaviors, big and small, online and offline.

In this presentation you will:

  • Get a primer on some key behavioral research and behavioral models, and see examples of using them in a user experience.
  • Learn some of the techniques, prompts, tips, and workforce strategies that help bring behavior design science into everyday UX work.
  • Review some common mistakes made in UX, from expecting too-big leaps from consumers, to assuming information will prompt action, to ignoring the power of a consumers’ environment.
  • Apply the latest models of behavior change to moving a consumer through an online experience and spurring them to act offline.

Schedule: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
